If she was so horrible, why did they leave their son with her?

I worked with Jesse before he got fired and in all honesty it didn’t take much common sense to realize that the guy was seriously creepy. I’m not sure what Tamarak Camp is, I was just searching to find out about rumors I’d heard, but if this is a camp for children than ANYONE who allowed him to take care of other peoples children has VERY poor judgement. It was common knowledge around work that the guy was really weird, and it only took about 5 minutes around him before it started to show. I would never have let this guy anywhere near children in my care, why anyone else would is a complete mystery to me.

I was so said to here what happen life is to short for someone to take another life and could have took several other people lives because he wasn’t happy with in himself…. Prayers goes out to the family…… And special prayers to my doctor Dr. Kirschenbaum when I heard the news I couldn’t believe I actually had to see it for my self it brought tears to my eyes just knowing the memories that you had on your walls just remember your patient love you expecially the Lee family just waiting for you and the new office….well wishes

I was there too and he did hit the child. The child’s father was very angry. He didn’t punch him but it did show he shouldn’t be staff if he couldn’t even handle Dad weekend at family camp. He also, to my knowledge, was never around campers after the incident.

Tamarack does a great job with staff and this could happen to any camp. There are monsters everywhere.

It is so that person was so out of touch with reality that he destroyed the life of another as well his. I am so glad that you and your wonderful staff are alright. Like many others I am sadden by your personal loss. My heart goes out to you and all those affected by this murder and fire. Please let me know when your new office opens. Hugs to you and your staff. I will keep you guys uplifted in prayer.

Born:: July 22, 2011 – Died:: August 8, 2012
Pierce Vinson Heiliger passed away the mornin of August 8th in his sleep, Baby Pierce was born with Coronary heart disease (CHD), and Autism and suffered a massive right sided stroke and was put on life support. His family was told this baby would never smile due to his stroke…..and if he did it would likely be an involuntary reflex. Nothing involuntary about that grin ( a picture of him on his facebook page), While on Life Support August 8th of 2012 Pierce Vinson Heiliger passed away in his sleep.

As an FJA parent of an alum, current parent and a soon to be student there I applaud these parents for speaking the truth. What a stupid rule this is. We pay a lot of tuition money for our children to have the best teachers and using just 1 of the 613 mitzvoth as a litmus test shows how silly and ridiculous the head of school is and any board members who agree with his perspective.

If any one has read the latest this guy and his lawyer argued that he should get kosher food in cheder (prison). Ridiculous. I’m sure he didn’t keep kosher before he went to the slammer & now we tax payers have to pay for him to get kosher food? That’s another aveira (sin) he’s now done — as if the 3 year old sexcapade wasn’t enough (allegedly).

I would NEVER stand up for a molester of children. That is sick! All I am saying is that I have never seen any signs of this in all the years I have known him.

I thought our governor was bringing jobs to Michigan. Apparently he is waving goodbye to them

All their speak about looking for good people that want to be part of the upswing and new growth to make Detroit what it once was and more? How can they expect to do that from Atlanta?

It’s about time someone is questioning how the Frankel Jewish Academy and the board members dictate what goes on there. I take my hat off to the three parents who stepped up to the plate.

Not true, not true at all. Some anonymous complaint that multiple synagogues were some all providing a safe haven for molestation? Have you ever been to a synagogue board meeting? Very difficult to agree on the date for an annual dinner. This is just another sham trying to degrade the Torah community. Shameful, in poor taste, and obviously flawed.

I heard a rumor that Chabad is going to make a big announcement about Detroit.
